The concert was fantastic. Absolutely amazing. From songs on Final Straw that everyone sang along with to the beautiful tracks of Open Your Eyes, they definitely did the music and the fans that came out justice. Gorgeous beauty of Chasing Cars, Shut Your Eyes, the rocking out during You're All I Have and Headlights on Dark Roads, the restless perfection of It's Beginning To Get To Me, and the absolute heartbreak of Make This Go On Forever -- absolutely the best performance. Their energy is amazing too, even when they're back out on encore they're still thrashing around the stage as if it's their first three tracks!

Not to mention, Gary Lightbody is one hell of a charming frontman. Damn.

I would just like to end this summary by adding that I got to grip his hand in a total handshake. Gary Lightbody, yes, that's right. And he smiled at me! Which just goes to show that my entire life now has meaning. He came out three times into the audience front which is where one of my best Sarah and I had crammed ourselves, and oh man, the crowd surged every single time. I got to touch his shirt and back, but the culminating moment had to be when I actually got to hold his hand.

That's not how it was exactly, but it's a nice picture that gives an abstract feeling of just how a fan feels in the moment. We firmly gripped hands, fingers firms, palms pressed. Nonetheless. The moment was glorious, the night was superb, and the music will live on forever as a testament to their greatness. Here's to Snow Patrol!
